Why Paris?
Paris delights and inspires newcomers with the paintings in the Louvre, the grands boulevards, and a skyline marked by the Eiffel Tower and the Gothic spires of Notre Dame. The Parisians are also very proud of their rich cultural life, with more than 300 theaters, 400 cinemas, and many concert halls.

The IES Abroad Paris French Studies Program
Founded in 1962, the IES Abroad Paris French Studies program combines a rigorous curriculum of French language study with a wide range of course offerings. IES Abroad also offers you a unique opportunity to focus on issues of the Francophone world with courses in Art, Cinema, Literature, and Francophone History.

Program Details

IES Abroad courses taught exclusively in French by mostly native French faculty.
Local university courses at the most prestigious schools in Paris.
Gain international work experience and unique cultural exposure through internships in a variety of fields including The Arts & Museums, Business & Marketing, Education, and Non-Governmental Organizations

Additional Exciting Program Aspects

Live in a homestay or in a private apartment building.
Exciting field trips to destinations such as Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte, Normandy, Versailles, Giverny, Provence, and Morocco.
