CIEE Biology and Ecology Field Studies in Perth, Australia
With access to the largest fringing coral reef in the world and some of the planet’s most remarkable biodiversity, western Australia is a treasure trove for students who are interested in ecology and marine biology. Whether you collect data on the 260-kilometer Ningaloo reef or join scientists to help protect endangered forest marsupials, you’ll sharpen your science skills, and return from the land down under with valuable hands-on experience.

Study abroad in Australia and you will:logo
  • Enjoy an experiential learning model that feature field research, classroom lectures, and lab work
  • BE AWED by hundreds of species of coral, fish, and other sea creatures while you collect data on Ningaloo Reef, a World Heritage Site.
  • Spend time working at the world heritage listed Ningaloo Reef, as well as the biodiversity hotspot in the south west forests.
