Intensive Italian option: All participants in this program begin with an intensive Italian course, which meets for the first six weeks of the program. Students also have the option to take a second course in Italian during the remainder of the semester. Thus, this program facilitates fulfilling the Gustavus language requirement within one semester. Yearlong participants might be able to complete two full years' worth of college Italian.

Field study options: The fall semester program offers (at extra cost) an optional short-term field study on the food and wine business in Italy, and the spring program offers (at extra cost) a field study on the Italian fashion business. Theses course will each be 0.25 units at Gustavus.

Refundable housing deposit: In addition to the budget shown, students will be asked to pay a refundable housing deposit of $300. This deposit may be fully or partially refundable upon checkout depending on the state of the housing as you depart.
