For Gustavus Adolphus students: IFSA uses semester credits. Each GAC unit = 4 semester credits. Thus, some IFSA courses, which are worth 3 semester credits each, are worth 0.75 GAC units. Be sure to discuss the irregular unit totals with your advisors as you select courses.

A full load at UTS is 24 points
3 UTS credits = 2 U.S. sem. crs. = 0.5 GAC units (cannot meet requirements)
4 UTS credits = 2.5 U.S. sem. crs. = 0,675 GAC units (cannot meet requirements)
6 UTS credits = 4 U.S. sem. crs. = 1 GAC unit
8 UTS credits = 5 U.S. sem. crs. = 1.25 GAC units
